Summary of San Francisco

Amazing city. The houses, the hilly streets, the wharf, the 50 degree temperatures. Just gorgeous and healthy! Unfortunately, our diet wasn't. I'm just going to post pics of where and what we ate!

Boudin Bakery: A chain of bakeries/restaurants around San Francisco. FRESH sourdough bread. Very tasty.

Stopped by a place near the wharf for some ciopinno: soup with mussells, crab, clam, shrimp, fish in a tomato broth.

Ghiradelli Square: hot fudge sundae AND a peanut butter chocolate parfait

Random sidewalk cafe: eggs, toast, fruit.

Scoma's: the most delicious crab cakes ever, cold appetizer: oysters, clam, crab, shrimp, prawn.

Scoma's: prawn, lobster, crab in a butter glaze with pasta, rice, and veggies

Isobane: floating sushi boats: grab which plate you want when it comes by: rolls, sushi, sashmi, handrolls, etc.

Random dessert: Halo Halo- a phillipino dessert with purple yam icecream, cream, ice, and a mixture of beans.

Banana split: chocolate peanut butter, caramel, and rum raisin ice cream. This is the place's HOMEMADE ice cream!

The famed Mama's restaurant. Rated as having the best french toast in town.

French toast with bananas, blackberries, strawberries, blueberries with chocolate drizzles.

Dinner at a sidewalk restaurant: Appetizer- stuffed calamari with SQUID INK garnish.

Chicken baked under a brick with asparagus.

California pizza: basil and a variety of veggies.

Sear's Fine Dining: known for their dish of 18 mini pancakes

As if all the eating isn't enough. We treated ourselves to room service of veggie pizza and Turkey club!

Dessert crepe at a sidewalk cafe: NUTELLA, strawberries, and blueberries. DELICIOUS.

  1. What did the squid ink taste like? Vinegar-ish?
